I’m Joanie Frank. I help people figure out what makes them remarkable — and then make sure the right people know it.

After 30+ years as a publicist and strategic advisor, I’ve worked with founders, executives, authors, nonprofits, and thought leaders across the country from Detroit to the national stage.

What I do isn’t just PR. It’s positioning. It’s figuring out what actually makes someone worth paying attention to — and why that story hasn’t been landing the way it should. I know what the media wants. I know what clients respond to. And I’m very good at seeing what you can’t see about yourself.

Most of my clients come to me thinking they need PR. What they usually need first is clarity — on their story, their positioning, and why the right people aren’t finding them.

I’m based in Michigan and work with clients nationally. I founded B Frank Communications 30+ years ago and have built it on one philosophy: be honest, be direct, and do work that actually moves the needle.
