Different Challenges. Different Strategies.
Every client comes to me with a different challenge. These stories show how discovery, strategy, and PR work together in different ways.
Dr. Michelle Barr
From Expertise to National Visibility
Michelle had already built a successful business, written several books, and established herself as an expert in her field. What was missing was a media presence that reflected the depth of her experience and expertise.
I built a strategy to introduce her to a broader audience in ways that resonated with producers, journalists, and event organizers. She appeared on FOX 2 Detroit and FOX Soul, earned national and international coverage, took part in the Academy Awards and ESPYs gifting lounges, and caught the attention of a New York publisher.
The result wasn't just publicity. It was momentum, with each opportunity building on the last.
Selected highlights:
FOX 2 Detroit, FOX Soul, Yahoo, international media coverage, Academy Awards Gifting Lounge, ESPYs Gifting Lounge, and a New York publishing opportunity.
Scott Beaulier
Building a Stronger Public Reputation Through Thought Leadership
Scott wanted wider audiences for his economic ideas and the work he leads at the University of Wyoming. He has a gift for making complicated economic and higher education issues understandable, so I built a strategy around that strength.
In a short amount of time, I took Scott from having virtually no media presence to building a strong national media footprint, establishing him as a trusted source on the economy, higher education, leadership, housing, and the workforce. The work also brought added attention to the University of Wyoming College of Business.
Selected media:
Newsweek, The Washington Times, Scripps News, Money.com, Yahoo Finance, MSN, Forbes Advisor, GOBankingRates, and PYMNTS.
John Patterson
From No Public Visibility to a Recognized Voice in AI and Marketing
John had deep expertise in AI, social media marketing, and business growth, but no public presence to match. I defined his positioning, found the right media opportunities, prepared him for television, built relationships with producers and reporters, and grew his speaking platform. I also pushed him toward a TEDx talk and used that momentum to lay the groundwork for his first book.
John is now a recurring FOX 2 Detroit contributor, has delivered a TEDx Pontiac talk, and continues building his platform as an AI strategist while preparing to launch his book.
Selected media:
Recurring FOX 2 Detroit contributor, TEDx Pontiac speaker, media interviews, speaking opportunities, and a growing platform for his first book.
Lynn Darmon
Turning Credibility Into Continued Momentum
Lynn had already built a respected practice and earned her clients' trust. She didn't need reinventing. She wanted to reach more people and share her expertise with a wider audience.
Our work has always been personal: sometimes introducing Lynn to the right person at the right moment, other times finding media opportunities that matched her expertise. Over time, those opportunities expanded her reach and built steady momentum.
Selected media:
Huffington Post, AOL, ABC 20/20, CBS Detroit, and Los Angeles Magazine.
